Happy 65th Grammy!

Grammy's 65th bday party! Jules joined us on the phone while we sang and Grammy opened her new camera. The boys made a nice "healthy" carrot cake, topped with white chocolate chips (Spence still doesn't like chocolate!) and crazy raisins for the #65.

Updates ... finally!

We finally seem to have our internet services back on track ... after about a month & a half of problems. So here are some recent pictures ... Spencer in the sprinkler on one of those 85+ degree days (of course today was back to the low 50's) ... and a nice picture of us taken by Spencer showing the growing baby! Down below are pictures of Bryce's many faces, a few of the boys together, and a couple of great shots with Grampa. Everyone has been fairly well, barring 6 stitches (in Spencer's knee) and allergy season! The baby certainly appears to be growing, and everything looks positive. Bryce has started a pre-school program 3 days a week, to see if we can help him out a little bit with his articulation. Spencer has had a great year in school, but unfortunately hasn't grown out of his panic attacks related to this wonderful thunderstorm season we're in. Shawn had confirmation yesterday, so he should be able to relax a bit more now. School ends for us on June 14th ... hooray for summer vacation!!

Our private one!

Here's the latest view of baby #4! At the top left of the picture is his/her foot, and you can also see the left arm bent at elbow with hands resting up by the face/ear. He or she worked very hard at keeping his/her legs crossed, very private about his/her gender! But the heart is beating, and the baby is growing as expected ~ hooray! There was a spot on the heart that increases the risk for Down Syndrome, so prayers for a healthy baby are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

More Easter Pics

Here's some shots from the traditional easter egg hunt at great Nana & Gramps. Everyone was so impressed that Spencer so graciously shared all his eggs ... until he matter-of-factly announced that he just didn't like chocolate, and that's why he was sharing!

Spencer & Bryce got to celebrate Easter morning at Mimi's, with a few extra surprise treats! Who knew that chicken's lay easter eggs?! And they planted seeds that the easter bunny had left the night before, watered them, and then the seeds had magically turned to lollipops in the morning!! And the biggest entertainment of the weekend was watching Mimi's new washing machine at work!!

Spring storm

Last week I was out raking the lawn and checking out all the bulbs coming up ... then on Thursday we woke up to ~8 heavy inches, school canceled, and no power for 12 hours! And with no power, we had no running water, which made Julie's outhouse look good!

Just Couldn't Wait!

The boys have been begging to dye Easter Eggs, so we got an early start today! Of course ~ 'Cars' stickers! Despite thier obsession, I just couldn't resist. Bryce's final masterpiece!

Welcome Sophia Grace!

Sophia Grace joined the world at 10:10pm Friday night! She was 8 pounds, 13 ounces, with a full head of hair. Mere had a very long day, but all are doing well now. These pictures are from Pop's cell phone, for some reason I forgot my camera. Spencer was thrilled that he got to hold Sophia, and so cute giving her gentle hugs and kisses! Uncle Shawny was very proud, too!

Pregnant Mama Snowman!

This is as far as we got making our snowman last week! I couldn't lift up the snowball sections, so the boys decorated him as is, and this is how he remains!

Fun in Maine!

The boys had a great time with Grammy & Grampa and at least 8 inches of fresh fallen snow this past weekend!

Kitchen Curtains!

After almost a year and a half, I finally managed to make curtains for the kitchen windows! What picturesque windows ... I think curtain companies should come here to take their advertising photos!! 

Baby #4

It's for real!!! We're expecting again! Here's the first glimpse ... head is on the left, big belly on the right. The little line in between the two oval shapes is the baby's arm, and the legs are actually curled up at the bottom of his/her belly. Due date is September 12th! 

Ms. Q and Mr. U tie the knot!

Spencer's class had a wedding last week ... Ms. Q and Mr. U are now married, so they'll always be together in words! Spencer was selected to play the role of Mr. U! He did fabulous, although he appeared a bit overwhelmed at times! The room was filled with parents and a few grandparents, plus another class of students. Ms. Fagan was "Commander of the Dictionary", and the Best Letters were A and D.
