Ho, Ho, Ho!

As expected, Spencer told Santa he wanted a drum set, and Bryce told Santa he wanted a chocolate chip cookie! All we need now is a little of the snow from Julie's blog ...

Over-Heard

Spencer was teaching Bryce about Santa today ... when Spence asked Bryce what he wanted Santa to bring him, Bryce said, " I want Santa bring me a chocolate cookie!"

Thanksgiving Weekend

Shawn took down his "treasure chest" from the attic at Mimi's ... his favorite Richard Scary and Smurf collections. Mimi and I are quite sure that Shawn was having more fun here than the boys! Spencer & Bryce giving us a wonderfully loud concert at Pops & Gramma B's Enjoying the Christmas Parade at Grammy & Grampa's The boy who loves firetrucks ... would you ever guess they were going by, and they really weren't loud this year!

What a beautiful fall weekend we had! The boys have definitely missed their time with Mimi ~ Bryce didn't even want to come home!

Touch a Truck Day

We went up to Portsmouth today for this special fundraiser event. The boys had a blast, even though it was a bit overwhelming and exhausting! Here is a small sampling of their pretend world ... Grampa ~ this really was Bryce's favorite! He cried when we had to let someone else drive the bus!

Sensory Overload!

Every kid in every truck was beeping the horns ... it just got to be way too much for Spencer ... This picture was not posed! So we got an ice cream (of course this truck was here!) ... ... and took a break far away from the noise and commotion (see the trucks way in the background) ... 

Touch a Truck turns to Touch an Airplane!

Our ice cream break was right up next to the Pease Airport, and as we were enjoying the quiet break, a pilot came along and asked us what was going on. We told him about the truck day, and he asked the boys if they ever got to touch an airplane! So he took us through the security gates and out to the planes! Then he decided to take us into his hanger, and let the boys get into his plane!

Just happened to look up when standing in the driveway today ... saw this nice view. Hope you had a beautiful day!

Bryce's Happy Face

Bryce was being so cute (as usual) while we were waiting for Spencer's bus to arrive ... I had to run in and get my camera! This first shot is his favorite smile to make ~ yes, with his eyes closed! Playing Peek-a-boo ... Just being silly! 

Timber ... maybe

"Well, isn't that cute" ... I think he said something like that when dad got his chainsaw stuck in the tree! Dad and Shawn attaching it to the truck to try and pull it down after the 1st cut... After a good 1/2 hour, at least 3 cuts off the main trunk, and a few tows from the truck, it was a less then dramatic "timber"! Cool dude working hard!

Grampa brought us an early Christmas present today! Spencer took this shot ... Jules, he might be following in your footsteps as a great photographer!  

October Dinner

Mimi made an early Halloween dinner for the boys tonight ... ghost shepard's pie! Very creative! Spencer thought it was quite funny when he ate the peas and then said his ghost was blind!

My Helpers!

We had a load of soil delivered today (to plant some grass where Shawn cut down several trees) ... the boys had a blast in this pile! They played in the dirt for a good 3 or 4 hours straight! Bryce had the most fun rolling down the side of the pile! Bath time was at 4pm today, definitely before dinner!
